THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE SHIFT
Many people think neuroplasticity is only about long-term brain rewiring. But neuroscience shows there are different levels of change.
The first level is chemical change. These are rapid shifts in brain chemistry and nervous system activity that can happen within seconds or minutes. This is where The SHIFT lives.
The second level is structural change. This is what most people think of as neuroplasticity. The rewiring of neural pathways through intentional repetition and training. This is what we call SHAPE.
The third level is functional change. This often occurs following injury, illness, or neurological trauma, where the brain finds new ways to perform functions.
The SHIFT is where transformation begins.
Before we can rewire the brain, we often need to recalibrate it.
